Nor Cal Trip!

I just got back from my short road-trip to San Francisco and Berkeley! It was quite the experience. Would you like to see?

The mountains looked like Cookies N' Cream scoops befitting a god.

Us in a neat shop called Sock Heaven. I found an adorable scarf (not the one in the picture, that's mine) but abstained (I've been wasting a lot of money).

B befriending seagulls at the Wharf.

Free fire-twirling show!

This city has so many steep hills. Driving through it is like being on a pussily-slow roller coaster.

I was so tempted to yell, "Stop the car! We've gotta see this!" (Why didn't I?)

Gurlz night out! Pardon the bags underneath our eyes, we were both quite tired.

Sky-scraper Christmas tree status. They were having a Prop 8 protest all around it. Pretty damn sad to see all the people huddling together, wearing signs saying "Second Class Citizen"...

We hit the Castro district after that, also known as the gayest street in America. The movie "Milk" was filmed here!

We met up with B's San Franciscan friend Andrew there. He led us around! And showed us that pretty much every store was incredibly dirty.

Is it weird that this is the cleanest picture I found on that street? (I laughed many times)

I want to be a hip, bearded, gay San Fran boy!

From the Twin Peaks you can see the whole city: the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate bridge, Market street...

But let me not forget the entire purpose of the trip! The tour of Berkeley. The campus was so colorful and cold (it started pouring halfway through the tour) and lush.

A feast for the journalistic eye: in front of the Free Speech Movement Cafe there are the front-pages from newspapers around the world, updated every day!

This school is a forest, I'm tellin' ya. I like forests.

Dancing in the rain! Like a true poser douche.

Can you hear the bells? They're calling.

How lonely does this tree look? I wanted to give it a hug, but it was soaking wet.

So apparently I have ancestors at Berkeley. Who knew? (Stupid Leah & Michelle made me wear Converse)

A peace lover's paradise. You KNOW I bought one. :)

And there you have it. I commend you if you actually looked through all of this crap.
